Ron Reitshtein

Ron Reitshtein is a Los Angeles native and a founding partner of Los Angeles family law firm, Youngman Reitshtein, PLC.  

Ron is a seasoned litigator, though his practice of family law is deeply informed by his mediation training.

While experienced in all areas of family law, Ron is particularly effective in complex matters, where he can craft unique and elegant solutions to difficult situations. Ron represents a range of clients, from high-net worth entrepreneurs and business owners to prominent individuals in entertainment and professional sports.

Ron is an active member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the Beverly Hills Bar Association’s Family Law Section where he is the immediate past Co-Chair of the section’s Executive Committee.  Ron Previously served as Vice-Chair and Secretary.

Ron has served as a Daily and Virtual Settlement Officer for the Los Angeles Superior Court since 2018. Ron also serves as a volunteer mediator for the V.A.S.T. program, and provides pro bono legal services for the clients of the Loyola Law School Center for Conflict Resolution. In 2020 Ron worked with the Los Angeles Superior Court to establish the court’s Self Represented Litigant Judgment Assistance Day Program.

Ron and the rest of his firm have donated extensive time to the Harriett Buhai Center for Family Law, and in 2019 the firm was recognized by the organization with the creation of a prestigious new award category, “Pro Bono Firm of the Year.”

Ron graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science.  He received distinction for his international legal coursework including that at Florence, Italy’s Lorenzo De Medici academy.  Ron graduated from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles where he was a Fritz B. Burns Scholarship recipient during all three years of law school.  He also served as a staff member and editor of his law school’s Entertainment Law Review.  

Ron was recognized on Super Lawyers, Rising Star list in partnership with Thompson Reuters in 2018, 2019 and 2020; and as a Super Lawyer in 2022 and 2023.

In addition to the practice of law, Ron has a passion for real estate investments and holds a California Department of Real Estate, Broker’s License to transact in same. He has a strong grasp of computer and internet technologies and applies this knowledge base to the cases he handles.
